Tasks Involved:

• Fundamental research in fluorescent bulb configurations for low cost manufacturing.
• Both analog and digital signal processing control loops investigated.
• Goals: high power factor, low harmonic content, even lamp dimming from full bright to black, low fabrication costs for high volume manufacturing, etc.
